The 3-layer medical mouth-nose shield (MNS for short) are designed to cover the mouth and nose area when worn. The purpose of the MNS mask is to prevent or reduce the expulsion of droplets during exhalation and speech. Primarily, the MNS face mask is used to protect others and protect those around you. However, the MNS mask can also protect the wearer's mouth and nose from direct impingement of larger droplets and prevent pathogen transmission bacteria and viruses through direct contact with the hands.
