The Getein SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test Kit(Colloidal Gold) is an immunochromatographic test for the rapid and qualitative detection of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) N protein in nasal swabs. This test is applicable to all individuals suspected of being infected with SARS-CoV-2. The test is used to aid in the diagnosis of virus-infected disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).

Sampling:

Gently insert the entire soft tip of the swab into one nostril about 1.5 cm until you feel some resistance. Using medium pressure, slowly rub the swab in a circular motion around the inner wall of your nose 4 times for a total time of 15 seconds. Repeat the same procedure with the same swab in the other nostril.

The swab is soaked below the liquid level of the specimen extraction buffer after specimen collection, rotated several times and pressed 10 times, the soaking time of the swab is at least 30 seconds. The specimen collection tube is squeezed while the swab is removed. The collection tube is then closed with the cap. The liquid in the tube is the sample after treatment.

Place the test cassette and sample extraction buffer at room temperature for 1015 minutes and bring to room temperature . Open the aluminum foil pouch of the test cassette and place the test cassette on a flat surface. Add 4 drops of treated sample to the sample hole of the test cassette (For chromatographic anomalies, add an additional 2 to 3 drops of treated sample). Incubate for 10-15 minutes at 10 30°C.

Observe results after incubation at 10 to 30 °C for 10-15 minutes. The result obtained after 30 minutes is invalid.
